A tragic tale of hunger for unbridled knowledge and intellectual ecstasy is reclaimed and re-examined through a Gen Z lens by weaving together classic literature, timeless philosophy, and shitposting to create an urgent multi-media exploration of a generation who learned connection through omnipresent screens. This titular u/faust is reimagined as a young incel, the deal making Mephistopheles as a J*e R*gan style influencer, and the lovely young and unobtainable Gretchen as a camgirl doomed.

Using the format of a children’s magic show about proper behavior, "Our lady of Perpetual Delusion" discusses narcissism and furthering one’s own agenda under the guise of morals. While the piece is centered around “negative” humanistic desires and habits, it is delivered with aesthetics of childhood whimsy and fantasy.
